Passport of Values

On June 3rd, 2023, in Ancient Olympia, a place of great symbolism where the Olympic Games were born, the International FairPlay Passport was launched, marking a strong message of symbolism in sport values, as announced in the passport of Procida, Italian Capital of Culture 2022.

From September 26, 2024 the Municipality of Ancient Olympia is the capital City of the International FairPlay Passport.

What is the passport?

The unique passport of values

The IFPP is a tool that promotes fairplay and, inspired by sport, projects its values in all dimensions of social activity.

A symbolic document of inclusion from sports to the social sphere, demonstrating that someone embraces and adopts the values of sport, especially fair play.

It is under the auspices of the International FairPlay Committee, the European Fair Play Movement, FairPlay Asia, and EPATHLA, and has its permanent headquarters in the Municipality of Ancient Olympia, a place of great symbolism and reference for Olympism.

The island of Procida was the Italian capital of culture 2020. The project “Procida where sport is also culture” and the “Fair Play Passport of Procida” were created by Prof Gennaro Testa, sport sociologist, creator of the International FairPlay Passport, owner of the copyright.

During the ceremony in June 3rd  2023 in Olympia, Greece, the Procida passport evolved into the International Passport.

Who is it for?

The IFPP is aimed at society as a whole, concerns the entire world, and extends beyond sports, regardless of cultural and national differences.

It can unite the world and shape a global sports culture across society, daily life, culture, sports, education, and the economy.
The passport is not only for athletes, technical officials, referees, coaches, and federations, but also for schools, universities, clubs, and institutions.

It is a behavior model that acts as an example in sports and everyday life.
