On the occasion of Olympic Day, the Athens Olympic Museum celebrated the power of participation, inclusion, and teamwork through a special initiative dedicated to the values of Olympism.
Under the motto “You Can Do This. Let’s Move.”, the summer camps of the A.X.I.A. Fencing Club and the EEA “MARGARITA” Special Education Workshop came together at the Museum and took part in collaborative activities that highlighted the joy of movement, effort, and meaningful coexistence.
A highlight of the day was an introduction to the sport of Boccia, presented by Paralympic medalist and champion Chrysi Morfi and coach Sotiris Chronopoulos, who inspired participants through their experience, achievements, and personal example.
The initiative was organized with the support of the International FairPlay Passport and the contribution of Denise Panagopoulou and Georgia Fyrigou Consolo, promoting the message of fair play and participation for all.
All participants received commemorative International FairPlay Passports, signed by the Paralympian Chrysi Morfi as a keepsake of a day filled with inspiration, collaboration, and Olympic values.
