🎉Welcome, Abraham Lincoln School, from Chubut, Patagonia!🌟 🎉Abraham Lincoln is a bilingual school with over 50 years of experience focused on teaching English not merely as a subject, but as powerful tool for accessing knowledge and engaging with the world. At both primary and secondary levels, our educational philosophy is grounded in a holistic approach that integrates language learning with academic content. This integrated model allows us to nurture globally minded citizens who are prepare to participate meaningfully and responsibly in an interconnected world. Our students come mainly from the cities of Comodoro Rivadavia (where the school is located) and Rada Tilly. Most of them are Argentineans with a very small percentage coming from other origins. Values such as responsibility, commitment, creativity, excellence, leadership, inclusion, empathy, collaboration, respect, and critical thinking are part of our daily lives encouraging students to become good citizens. At the institutional level, our expectation is that this program will help us deepen our culture of respect, integrity, teamwork, and responsible citizenship. We hope to integrate the principles of fair play not only in sports activities, but also in our daily school life. We believe that initiatives like this one foster intercultural dialogue and global awareness which are essential for educating students in today´s world. Personally, as an educator and part of the team of teachers leading the program, I expect this experience to be transformative for students. I hope they develop a stronger sense of empathy, ethical responsibility, and leadership. I also look forward to learning alongside them by exchanging perspectives with other schools, reflecting on our own practices and growing both personally and professionally through this collaborative international experience.
