Teaching Values, Inspiring Futures
WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY
Celebrating those who inspire, guide and empower the next generation.
Since 1994, UNESCO has designated 5 October as World Teachers’ Day, recognising the vital and multifaceted role of teachers and their enduring contribution to the progress of individuals and societies.
It is a day dedicated to the people who stand beside students every day—sharing knowledge, nurturing values, encouraging participation, and opening pathways to the future. Teachers play a unique role in helping young people grow not only in knowledge, but also in respect, cooperation, inclusion, friendship, and responsibility.
These are also the values at the heart of the IFPP-Olympia Club. Through education and sport, teachers have the opportunity to inspire young people to embrace Fair Play, respect others, value diversity, work together, and understand that being a true protagonist does not mean being a champion, but being willing to participate, contribute, and make a positive difference.
On this special day, we celebrate and thank all teachers for the important role they play in shaping a more respectful, inclusive, and peaceful world.
